I am currently searching for a new video recording program. Until that is resolved the video recordings are suspended.
Thank you for your understanding
Just like so many other Scriptures that we have looked at in the past, this Passage is so incredibly rich. It just seems like almost every word is oozing with rich, deep meaning. And so to clarify what is being said, we’ll be looking at various Scriptures, concepts, and precepts that are expressed throughout all of the Bible, but primarily throughout the Renewed Covenant (N/T). I hope that you’ve been able to follow along in our series. If not, I would encourage you to check out the archives.
Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.Mat 22:13
“Bind him hand and foot”
For the wicked, there is no escaping the judgment of God.
They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.Luk 17:27
While they may be satisfying their worldly, fleshly desires in their lawless lifestyle, just as they did in the day of Noah ; judgment is coming. There will be no escaping it, just as in the days of Noah.
Notice that the King didn’t bind the man. He had His servants do it. This is a picture of your role in the Kingdom of God. Matthew 18:18 says:
Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
As “Kings and Priests” in the order of Melchizedek, this is a very profound responsibility that has been delegated to the Remnant of God.
“Take Him Away”
In Matthew 22:5 we read that some who had been invited to the wedding dinner made light of it and “went their way”. Here in verse 12 we see that those who go their own way eventually face judgment in eternal death, just as they did in the days of Noah
There is a separation between the Remnant of God and the lawless, between the Righteous and the unrighteous, between those who are Kings and Priests and those who aren’t.
Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?2 Cor. 6:14
While those who choose to serve the King in faith and love will enjoy the marriage supper, those who choose to go their own way and the way of the satan will spend eternity in hell with him.
The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;Mat. 13:41
“outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth”
As we conclude Matthew 22:13 we come to “outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth”
In their commentary, Jamieson–Fausset-Brown words it extremely well:
The expression is emphatic – “the darkness which is outside.” To be “outside” at all – or, in the language of Rev. 22:15, to be “without” the heavenly city, excluded from its joyous nuptials and gladsome festivities – is sad enough of itself, without anything else. But to find themselves not only excluded from the brightness and glory and joy and felicity of the kingdom above, but thrust into a region of “darkness,” with all its horrors, this is the dismal retribution here announced, that awaits the unworthy at the great day.
Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.Rev 22:14 -15 KJV
For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loves and makes a lie.
Outside are the dogs [the godless, the impure, those of low moral character (hypocrites)] and the sorcerers [with their intoxicating drugs, and magic arts], and the immoral persons [the perverted, the molesters, and the adulterers], and the murderers, and the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices lying (deception, cheating).Rev. 22:15 AMP
Today we examined Matthew 22:13.
Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.Mt. 22:13
May Yahweh God guide you unto all righteousness.
Blessings in Yeshua, Parson Rayphe
